7 Ports Usb 2.0 High Speed Hub Driver Download Install Update
I installed Win 10 on Aug And I got an update on the 11th. After that my USB 2. My mouse was on one and now the system makes constant chimes like it is constantly being plugged in and out. I had to switch the mouse to a 3. If your high-speed USB 2.
If you are using an external USB hub plugged into your computer, this might also be defective or lack the proper drivers. Double-click Universal Serial Bus controllers and check to see if all your USB ports, hubs, and controllers are functioning correctly.
Any devices not functioning will have a yellow exclamation mark in front of them. If Device Manager shows any USB ports, hubs, or controllers are not functioning, check for updated drivers.
Once this is done, restart the computer to check the problem fixed. Did this solve your problem? Sorry this didn't help. That was actually the first thing I checked. All drivers are working correctly. My mouse worked correctly too in the 2. This wouldn't be an issue but I use 3 of 4 ports all the time and losing 2 is quite disappointing. Reply 4 people were helped by this reply. Everything says the USB ports are working fine and have all the latest drivers, etc.
I found I can get the ports to work temporarily in Windows 10, if I go to device manager and reset the associated USB Hub, but if I boot from cold again the ports will not work as before. Is there a proper fix for this?
I would suggest you to reinstall the USB drivers and check if it helps. Can it be a solution? Now, many KVM switch's mouse do not work at least properly not working. We have assumed to have better answer from Microsoft but the answer comes in like try again later. We do not want to downgrade all operating systems because of this f.. I've lost all outputs; no USB's, all 4 of my 2. I got nothing and all I'm getting is that my computer has experienced a hardware failure and that it's "2 years old".
Sure would be nice if they'd cram a fix for all of this down our throats instead of this abominable driver screwup mess for once. Suddenly last week I too have lost all USB 2. My recently installed 3. This cannot be coincidence, so I agree, admit something is wrong MS and fix the problem.

I have since stumbled upon a work-around that works for my system: Go to power settings and disable "Fast Startup". Reboot and all USB ports will work flawlessly. I'm guessing that fast startup does not allow enough time to register all drivers or something. Obviously this is a fault with the operating system. Hope this helps somebody else with the same issues CoffeyRichardson Replied on October 31, In reply to KaptainKayos's post on October 10, I have also noticed the touchscreen desktop services decides to disable itself whenever it feels like it, I have to manually enable and start, the USB I get yellow errors I have to uninstall then reboot to get them working, Microsoft you need to look into the issues people are telling you instead of it's our drivers etc etc, get a grip.
